Today has been another ” crypto charts records ” breaking day for some cryptocurrencies. Ethereum is strongly on its way to hitting 1K, Ripple breaks new records with a market cap of $126 B and a current price of $3.26. Cryptocurrency global market cap hits $700 B for the first time while ADA hits $1 for the first time.
After hitting new records of $919 before dropping, ETH seems to be on another trip and this time, $1000 seems to be its new destination and target. After being pushed by Ripple to the 3rd spot on the market cap chart, Ethereum has seen some significant growth with over 7% in the past 24 hours.
It’s just less than 2 weeks when Ripple reached its all-time high of $1. Today, it hits another all-time high as it crosses the $3 mark but also doesn’t seem to be stopping anytime soon. It stands at $3.26 as of writing time with an increase of over 30% in the past 24 hours. This increase in price can partially be attributed to its rumors of being traded on Coinbase.
ADA also breaks its own record by hitting an all-time high of over $1. As of writing time, it stands at $1.07. This comes just days after it overtook Litecoin to now become the 5th coin according to coin market cap. ADA currently enjoys a $10 B gap from Litecoin and doesn’t seem to be settling in price anytime soon with an average growth of over 42% in the past 24 hours.
Crypto charts: $700 B global crypto market capitalization
A new global market cap adds to the crypto records of today. This new record is mostly being influenced by Ripple which now stands at $126 B market cap up from less than $50 B a few weeks ago. Also, some coins in the top 100 market cap have been experiencing significant growth. This combined has led to the new all-time high of over $700 B with many predicting cryptocurrency market cap will hit $1 T this year 2018.
