According to Amazon, they have gotten into a partnership with Worldpay. The partnership between Amazon and Worldpay will enable Amazon Pay for its Merchants future payments.
Amazon pay is quickly becoming more popular and it is well known as one of the best payment methods in online commerce and it is a popular payment method on the leading e-commerce platforms.

This cooperation will see the first opening of any U.S based Worldpay merchants to be able to use Amazon Pay while enhancing its clients online checkout services.
In a report by Amazon Pay’s Vice President, Patrick Gauthier, this is a serious step towards its payment service becoming widely available.
Gauthier also noted:
“We started to really think about how(we) not only simple integration and onboarding, but (how to) better manage operations on an ongoing basis. We decided the best solution for us was to integrate with a large merchant acquirer, as that simplifies a lot of the day-to-day issues around settlement, reconcilliation, reporting and dispute management.”
It is also reported that Fintech Fidelity National Information Services Inc. has acquired Worldpay. This will give the company an opportunity to expand its activities in any digital payments.
FIS has also started a partnership with Ripple, which has made this partnership an indirect step towards Amazon accepting Ripple as a payment method.
The company is also collaborating with Axis, an Indian Bank
