ConsenSys Job Kit Will Help Aspiring Developers Join The Blockchain Industry

Blockchain outfit ConsenSys, which is Ethereum’s development studio, has launched a “job kit” that will help aspiring developers to join the Blockchain industry quickly. Released last Friday, the kit will offer a variety of resources including information on the necessary skills required for one to become a decentralized application (dapp) developer and also to work as an Ethereum blockchain developer.

Big Companies Are Getting Ready To Enter The Blockchain Industry

According to the firm, Python, JavaScript, and Solidity programming languages will help developers to build on Ethereum. Also, knowledge of Java, Rust, Go, C++, Ruby, and .NET will aid new developers when it comes to backend or protocol development on the blockchain network.

The kit has a glossary section on fundamental blockchain and cryptography terms such as sharding, hash functions, token standards, and consensus algorithms. It also has links to places where aspiring developers can search for work including Blocktribe and Gitcoin.co, not forgetting job hunting sites like Indeed.com.

ConsenSys cites data from LinkedIn emerging jobs list for the past year that showed there was a high demand for blockchain development skills within the Blockchain industry. According to the data, related jobs saw a 33 times increase within a single year.

As for the companies that were busy hiring, they ranged from small remote teams to VC-funded startups and also industry leaders and technology giants like Facebook.

ConsenSys also cites another recent study by PWC – a professional services firm that indicated that more than 77% of companies are already in the process of taking blockchain based products and solutions into production while only 14% of the firm’s surveyed had no plans to integrate blockchain.

The company also notes that opinions on the blockchain, web3, and distributed networks were also rapidly changing among software developers, with 67.6% of the individuals surveyed maintaining a positive view on the blockchain tech.
