A Kazakh Kindergarten to use Blockchain Technology

A awaiting list for the blockchain applications

Kindergarten to use Blockchain – A system that has been set in place in order to manage the waiting list for kindergartens in the Kazakh capital of Astana. This is expected to be a full implementation of the Blockchain Technology at the beginning of February according to a few local news sources on January 29th.

In the Kazakstan region, some parents must apply in order to have their children accepted by the local kindergartens. This has resulted in waiting lists for certain schools and has proven to be difficult for some parents.

The Queues for the kindergartens are managed in accordance with the federal law under Standard State law services. The focus and priorities are based on children with legal representatives who are no longer present or disabled.

According to the report, there are children without parental care, who come from a large family together with children from special educational backgrounds.

Elorda info confirmed the admission process of the Astana’s kindergarten’s digitalisation last year. However, there was information that the system was unstable and that citizens were complaining that their data were stored incorrectly.

The system was reportedly inspired and supported by services like Uber, Airbnb, Booking.com. This is a Blockchain-driven database that will allow parents to choose a kindergarten based on the rankings and ratings that it receives from educational programs.

The Kazakhstan school has clearly shown that it has interest in the Blockchain Technology with cryptocurrency applications. The country has, however, still not introduced any legal frameworks for the management of cryptocurrencies.

According to reports coming from Kazakhstan’s president Nursultan Nazarbayev he has called for a global cooperation in terms of active regulations.

At the Blockchain Conference Astana back in June 2018, the Astana international Financial Center’s governor Kairat Kaliyev mentioned that the organisation is paying special attention to Blockchain and cryptocurrencies.

According to kaliyev the center has provided financial assistance to support fintech innovations and has arranged courses for Blockchain and programming lessons.

There is a more recent report that the executive body of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) and the trade union has been included in the Kazakhstan, Armenia, Belarus, Russia and Kyrgyzstan.

They have also prepared a detailed report on the application of cryptocurrencies in order to promote regulations that will be active in the area.
