Yelp, a platform which boasts of over 69 unique mobile users and 62 million desktop users per quarter provides important information on local bars, restaurants, businesses, opening hours and more. The platform also provides reviews on local services.

This new move by Yelp is definitely a big step towards massive adoption of cryptocurrencies due to the additional exposure this will provide to cryptocurrencies.

Also, this initiative might push local businesses to start accepting cryptocurrencies as a form of payment given the high reputation of the Yelp platform and the need by local businesses to catch up with local rivals.

The cryptocurrency space has been growing rapidly in the past few months, from rising prices to more use cases.

Yesterday, a startup which goes by the name Moon announced it has put up a payment processing infrastructure that will see Amazon users pay with Bitcoin when they do their purchases on the platform.

It should be noted that such moves are very important within the crypto space as mass adoption is of high importance and every baby move towards this is always very welcomed within cryptocurrency communities.
