Nike is not the only major organisation looking into Cryptocurrencies. Earlier this month, The IMF and the World Bank also launched a trial cryptocurrency.
Yelp, the directory social website added an “accepts cryptocurrency” filter on their website, making it easy for users to locate merchants who accept cryptocurrencies.
If this Cryptokicks patent goes through and Nike also pushing further with a coin, this could be another huge accomplishment towards mass adoption and for the cryptocurrency community.
